A long trip (Laramie to San Francisco, LA, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon)

We, a group of seven Nepalese people, started our long trip of eight days on March 16, 2013 from Laramie. We went all the way to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Grand Canyon.
It was a wonderful moment to spend quality time in several cities of US that gave us different flavor during the travel. We visited golden gate, Universal studios, Hoover dam, Grand Canyon  and the most interestingly Las vegas, the most exciting and wonderful places of our trip.  The interesting and funny moment of our  trip was the talk around "lassi", which heated up the atmosphere so much that everyone could not stop laughing at each other. Though chat, briyani, ice cream, and tea were also the parts of our talk that made people laugh but nothing came near "lassi". I will share the story of Lassi in the next blog, because I need to get permission from "lassi" character; without him this trip would not have been so much fun-filled and memorable.I have uploaded some photos from our the most exciting trip:

                            

Lionel Messi is the best ever

Many people believe that Lionel Messi (Argentina), who plays for Barcelona club, is the best soccer player of all time; while others argue he has to win the Fifa World Cup for his national side in his career to be entitled as the best ever . But there is no doubt he is the best soccer player of our generation. Messi became the first player in the history to win Fifa Ballon d'Or, the most prestigious individual football award,  for the fourth time in a row (2009-2012). How many goals he scored in a single calendar year not  just 10, 20 or 50 but more than 90 goals: a record of number of goals in a single calendar year in the history. He has set many records along the way: first player to score 5 goals in a single UEFA Champion league game, all time top scorer for Barcelona and many more. He is just 25 years old, just looking at the current Messi's supernatural form and statistics it can be concluded that many more is yet to come from genius Messi in the future. Messi, known as La pulga (The Flea), has magnificent skills and vision; he does amazing things ever seen in football history. Watching him playing is a joy for all the football fans. He is simply the GOAT and genius.

Christmas Celebration 2012

We had a wonderful Christmas celebration this year with host family. We really loved foods that were so delicious. Hope you all will have a wonderful time ahead. My Birthday Celebration

Having not celebrating my Birthday for years, I celebrated my birthday with my roommates and host family this year. I would like to thank Host family for a delicious and lovely dinner as well as for cake they arranged for my Birthday. My family (N...) and relatives offer me precious wishes and blessings as usual on the very happy day-my Birthday. It was a wonderful time to celebrate my Birthday with host family and my roommates. Your blessings, I believe, will bring never ending success with contentment. Thank you very much for making this wonderful day very memorable and exciting.

हजुरहरू पनि हिउमा चिप्लिन (Sledding) जाने की

आज घरमा एकदमै झ्याउ लागेर बसिरहेको थिए |अचानक रोशन भाई र बम दाईले स्लेद्दिङ (Sledding) गर्न जाने हो भन्नुभयो | कुरा बुझ्दै जादा त बसन्त दाईले भन्नुभयेको रहेछ् | मैले पनि हुन्छ भनिहाले र हामि (बसन्त दाई, उपेन्द्र दाई, रोशन भाई र म)दिउसो २:३० बजेतिर-Happy Jack  रोड तीर गयौ- हिउमा चिप्लिन जानको लागि | त्यहा त हावा पनि धेरै नै लागिरहेको थियो र चिसो पनि उत्तिकै रहेछ |त्यहाँ पुगेपछि हुरी बताससगैको चिसो मौसममा धेरै रमाइलो गरियो-Sledding गर्दै| करिब डेढ घण्टा स्लेद्दिङ गरि अपार्त्मेन्टतिर फर्कियौ| जे होस् आजको दिन निकै रमाइलो भयो |बसन्त दाईलाई धेरै धेरै धन्यबाद!!!

आज ल्याबमा काम गर्दा गर्दै झ्याउ लागेर आयो र Department बाट apartment तीर प्रस्थान गरे | Apartment मा आएर दुई चार शब्द कोर्ने प्रयास गरेको छू |येसो जीवन् बारे सोचेर केही लेख्न तम्सिये र कोरे पनि | म जिन्दगीको गोरेटोको हर दु:खमा पनि रमाउन चाहने मान्छे | मलाई कुनै अपसोच पनि छैन् न कोहिप्रती रिस राग नै छ| म आफू जीवनको हर पलमा रमाउन चाहाने  अनी अरुलाई अरुलाई पनि यहि रङगमन्चमा रमाउन कोशिश् छ|गरिरहने मान्छे | म त सत्रुको समेत कुभलो नचाहाने मान्छे | आफ्नो खुशीको तिलान्जली दियेर भएपनी अरुको खुशीमा रमाउन सिकीसकेको मान्छे | यी त जीवनको गोरेटोमा भोग्ने र झेल्ने कुरा न हुन| Anyway तपाईंहरू पनिनि खुशी रहनुस्, मजबुत रहनुस्, आनि अरुलाई गाड्नुस् र आँफै पनि गाडिनुस्- मेरो एही शुभकामना छ |

यथार्थको धरातललाई आधार
बनाइ बाच्ने गर
तर अपसोच खोक्रो आडम्बरको दोसल्ला
ओढेर रमाउने धेरै रहेछन् यहाँ |

अतितलाई हेरेर बर्तमानमा केही सिकेर
अगाडि बढ्ने गर
तर अपसोच अतितलाई चटक्क बिर्सेर
सुन्दर भविस्यको परिकल्पना गर्ने धेरै रहेछन् यहाँ ||

हर दु:ख सूखमा साथ दिनेलाई
आफ्नो भनि चिन्ने गर
तर अपसोच दु:खमा साथ दिनेहरूलाई
आफ्नो सूखमा बिर्सने धेरै रहेछन् यहाँ |||

स्वर्थी संसारको माझमा
चोखो मायाको अर्थ बुझ्ने गर
तर अपसोच चोखो माया गर्नेहरूलाई नै
पराइ ठान्ने धेरै रहेछन् यहाँ ||||

आफ्नो नजरमा को आफ्नो
को विरानो चिन्ने गर
तर अपसोच अरुको खुशी र भलो
चाहनेहरूलाई नै दोस दिने धेरै रहेछन् यहाँ |||||

जरुरत पर्छ एक दिन गल्लीमा
हिड्ने भुसिया कुकुरको पनि भनेर सिक्ने गर
तर अपसोच आफ्नो खुशीको रमझममा
आफ्नालाई लात हान्ने धेरै रहेछन् यहाँ ||||
