तीज-बिशेष पूजा

तिज- नेपाली महिलाहरुले मनाउने एउटा महत्वपुर्ण चाडपर्ब हो | तिज नेपालमा महिलाहरुले कसरि मनाउनु हुन्छ भनेर देखेको थिए अनि धेरै पुस्तकहरुमा पनि पढेको थिए | तर लारामीमा भाउजुहरुले यो चाड मनाएको देख्न पाउदा भने निकै राम्रो लाग्यो | बिदेशमा रहेर भएपनि नेपाली महिलाहरुले आफ्नो संस्कृतिलाई निरन्तरता दिनु हामी सबै नेपालीको लागि खुसीको कुरा हो | तिज कार्यक्रमहरुमा प्रतक्ष्य सामेल भएर आफुले पनि पुजामा सहयोग गरेको यो पहिलो अनुभब थियो | यसपाली तीज केहि बिसेस भयो- लारामीमा पनि पुजा गरि मनाईएको तिज देख्न पाईयो|

यसपालिको तिज कार्यक्रम अविस्मरनिय भयो- मलाइ पनि तेसपुजामा आमन्त्रण गरिएको थियो-पुजाको सहयोगको लागि | भाउजुहरु -जागित्री भाउजु, शोभा भाउजु,रुबिना भाउजु,पवित्रा भाउजु , प्रकृति भाउजु, सोनाम र पुस्पा तीजमा ब्रतबसी पुजाको लागि तयार हुनुहुन्थ्यो |तिजमा भाउजुहरुले धुमधाम नाचगान पनि गर्नुभएको रहेछ | लोक दाई,राजन दाई र म पुजाको लागि आवस्क्यक सहयोग गरिराखेका थियौ भने अर्कोतिर हामी फोटो खिच्न पनि व्यस्त थियौ | पूजामा ब्राह्मणको रुपमा राजन दाईलाई सहयोग गरेको भन्दा पनि तेती अनुचित नहोला किनकी समयले मनिसलाई धेरै कुर सिकाउदो रहेछ| पूजा नगरि नहुनेभएपछी बिदेशमा भएपनी पूजा गर्नुपर्दो रहेछ | राजन दाईलाई बिशेष धन्यवाद|

पूजा सकिएपछी हामी प्रसाद खान लाग्यौ, खिर + अरु परिकर खायौ | भाउजुहरु भने केही खानुभएन किनकी उहहरु ब्रतबस्नुभएको थियो- दाईहरुको लागि |भाउजुहरुले खाना एबम अन्य परिकारहरु साह्रै मिठो बनाउनुभएको रहेछ| भाउजुहरुलाई बिशेष धन्यवाद!!!

Ayush Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Ayush. Many-many happy returns of the Day. Myriads of wishes to Ayush for your bright future. May U always flourish.

Yesterday, I along with many Laramie Nepali were invited by Shyam Dai and Jagitri Bhauju for a party to celebrate Ayush Birthday. Thanks Shyam Dai and Jagaitri Bhauju for inviting us to the great celebration of Birthday party.The party began around 7:00 pm. The apartment was decorated in very well manner so it seemed it was designed for a movie shooting. After a while, Birthday cake was cut and was distributed to us. After taking cake, we moved to the food sections. There were variety of food items. The food was so delicious, I wish we had such a Party at every weekend. Thanks to all Bhauju for cooking delicious foods. After a while, dancing program started with opening-dance of Shyam dai and Jagitri bhauju. Lok Dai and Shova bhaju also danced very well. Everybody was interested in dancing, so all tried our best to dance in systemic way. Basant Dai one of the greatest dancer of Laramie. He danced in all types of songs-pop Nepali remix songs, rap songs, teej songs. He never feels tired while dancing. It seemed he could dance the while night if party would have continued the whole night. At last we all danced in different genre of songs.

On the other hand I got a chance to be introduced with Bal Chandra sir, who has just come here Laramie. Thank you Tek uncle, Shashi Dai and all of you making the party so enjoyable,valuable and memorable. We miss Keshav Dai, Baichhabi Dai very much.
