We,
Laramie Nepalese people, celebrated Dashain (the greatest festival of Hindus)
on October 08, 2011 at Cheney International Center, UW. ‘Dashain Celebration 2068’ was a Dashain
special event organized by Friends of Nepal at UW (FNUW). Presence of UW Internationals
students, professors, and faculty members made this event glorious. Activities
included in this event were Tika ceremony, Nepalese cuisine, and dancing. I think everyone participating in this event
enjoyed very much.
The
credit for the event’s success goes to everyone who helped and supported this
event all the way. It would never have been possible without their help and
support. In my opinion, such program helps to promote Nepal and Nepali culture
at UW. Thank you everyone for your help and support in making Dashain event a
grand success.
